It was an absolute pleasure to have met Barry, he was a real gentleman and phenomenal fun. There are so many stories, from his high spirits during campaigning in a cold & dark winter election, to enjoying celebrating his birthday in North Wales - where he even braved the zipline! But I will never forget leaving a great pub night with Barry and his family then sitting in his kitchen "testing" various whiskey till the early hours - quite the education! A treasured memory of a great man. My thoughts are with you all at this difficult time.

We can hardly believe we've lost our lovely friend and neighbour of 30+ years. We will miss Barry terribly, he was such a kind, gentle, funny man and he and all the family felt like part of our own family. We have had such great fun at many parties, BBQs and other events. We also feel blessed that we were able to share two lovely holidays with you both in sunny Spain and in Cornwall precious memories were made.
